Emily Wang
Founding Principal
Emily Wang (王晨帆), a Steinway Honorary Teacher and founding principal of SoMe Music School, is a highly respected piano educator and competition judge. She is an active member of prominent organizations, including the Singapore Youth and Children's Education Association.
A graduate of the University of Manchester, Emily has showcased her original works at Whitworth Art Gallery and organized cultural events such as the Chinese New Year Music Concert. During her decade-long tenure at Changsha Normal University, she taught over 3,000 students, developed innovative curricula, published 20+ academic papers, and led multiple research projects.
Her teaching has inspired students to win international accolades, earning her recognition as an exceptional mentor in global competitions. Emily's dedication to children's music education continues to inspire and shape the next generation of musicians.
